A Print for the Hopeless Romantics

missedconnection

Not everything is about sex. For those hopeless romantics who wear their hearts on their sleeves, it's about much more: that connection and longing. But sometimes you miss that connection and you sit around and wonder what could've been.

If you're that kind of person, this print belongs in your home.

In contrast to those tough-as-nails prints by Niagara, Tomine's piece (originally a The New Yorker cover) depicting a missed connection suggests a different view to those entering your home -- it says you're sweet and all about the love.

And anyone you bring to your home should appreciate this piece. If not, then you know that they're not the one and you can start pining for someone else.

If you like the artwork and what it conveys, I highly recommend his graphic novels Shortcomings and Summer Blonde.

LOVE Adrian Tomine! I've got another Summer Blonde print hanging in the studio, and it totally brings the warm fuzzies.
