In the wake of the untimely deaths of both Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett (and the more timely death of Ed McMahon) TV pitchman Billy Mays, who was found dead by his wife over the weekend, may not get the attention he deserves.
But given that Mays, 50, sported a nice beard—and said recently that for every product he pitched, there were about 200 he turned down—we will bestow him with the highest honor one can get here at Scanner: Bearded Man of the Week (even though maybe he’s, er, the bearded man of last week?).
Here’s hoping that heaven exists, and that it’s as Oxy Clean and wonderful as they want us to believe.
Now, the question remains: with Billy Mays dead and the ShamWow guy in jail, where will we spend all of our money?
